"What I want: Some type of alarm w/motion sensor or movement sensor to signal me remotely that someone has touched, entered, moved or removed something from my truck or trailer, or has separated trailer from truck.Limitations:1) I'm in and out of truck & trailer 30 to 50 times a day getting tools and supplies, so I need passive arm and easy or quick dissarm. While at jobsite,2) false alarms, laptop is whith me in house (30 gigs of tunes played through Bosch jobsite radio, also billing and spec sheets) so I can check cameras. 3)At home or out getting parts or supplies need way to monitor. Have PDA/Phone ® cellphone . I think that siren is unnecessary, if I'm wrong, tell me why."I would look into revising and updating your home insurance policy first. The top of the line Alarm system will not cover your lost. However, your updated insurance policy does!"Fun part: I want way to PUNISH offenders, (since I'll be able to watch them) -remote: shock, 140 decibel pain generators, paintball guns. I don't know, you guys are pretty creative, give me some ideas. But I don't want to kill them, just hurt them. Oh yeah, I don't want accidently punish myself."It's not going to happen! Professional car theif are like Comedian. Timing. They execute the punch line perfectly. Before you even know what have to your stuff. They are laughing selling the hot stuff on the street. On the more serious note, what I can suggest for you is get yourself a two way pager alarm and set up serval siren and have it connect to a seperate back up battery. It will give a couple of second of notice because the theifs walk off with your goodies. Take a look at some Compustar alarm product.
