hey guys,

im planning on getting a better security system for my 2002 Subaru impreza Wrx. the car already has a factory alarm on it. but i want more features then just keyless entry and breakin protection, or whatever you call it.

i've got all Alpine stuff for my stereo system. I've seen alot of Viper alarms, Cliffords, and so on. but i want a ALpine to match what i already have.

so far i've narrowed it down to two. the ALpine SEC-8063 and the SEA-8081. WHich one should i get? i seen the post that the expansion module can hook up to them. and so on.

my question is, which on should i get? i seen the features and stuff. but from experienced opinions. WHICH IS BEST. money is no object in this matter. i need a fort knox security system in this car.

DOES alpine make a tilt motion sensor that i can purchase also? or does it already come with the package?

thanks for any imput on this!!

Get the 8063 over the 8081 because they are virtuallt he same alarm system except that the 8081 has alot of the same features and it has the LCD display remote control. You can get the 8205 pager system or a universal module will also do. The 8343 EXT expansion module is no longer manufactured and will be hard to find unless there are shops that have old stock. The 8063 has 4 EXT already so it's a start. The 8063 also has the LCD display box that is nice to have and can support window modules as well as additional sensors and remote starter. The 8063 is also a couple of hundred dollars less than the 8081. There are many features that the 8081 has that you can not use unless you have the CVA or IVA head units.

BTW: The vehicle can only be FORT KNOX if the security system is installed properly. What to get for my new car? -- posted image.
