Here is a little feedback on my problem. I have an alarm that was connected to a siren. This is its default configuration:
Alarm enabled.- Three fast pulses (The siren beeps three times)
Alarm disabled.- Two fast pulses (The siren beeps two times)
Alarm active.- A continuous pulse that activated the siren (which had six tones)
I connected the alarm to the horn of the car instead of the siren using a relay and a flasher. Now this is how it works:
Alarm enabled.- One very low beep
Alarm disabled.- One very low beep
Alarm active.- The horn sounds at intervals thanx to the flasher (The first beep is very low, then the next are normal until deactivated).
Of course the pulses are still there because you can hear them in the relay, the thing is that the flasher is letting pass just the first one of the fast pulses when the alarm is enabled o disabled but with a lower current that is making the horn sound really low.
Does anybody knows how to rise the current after the flasher just enough so the beep is loud enough? Remember that when the alarm is active the 12V horn gets enough current to make the horn sound normally so I don’t want to burn the horn with too much current.
I hope I made this clear enough

Sorry i dont know what happened there.

I used an SPDT automotive relay SUN HOLD SCB-1-M-1240D. This is how I wired it:

Alarm.- 85, Ground.-86, Positive from battery.- 87, Negative from battery.- 30

It is working fine, I can hear it activating each time the alarm sends a pulse. Each time it activates the 12V from the battery reach the horn. I think the problem is with the flasher

Yes, the relay has an 87 and 87a. Its wired as you told me and the alarm is working fine when active. The flasher is making it beep on intervals. The problem is still when I lock and unlock the car that the horn sound really low and with just one beep instead of the three and two beep configuration.
I think the pulses are so fast that the flasher isnt getting enough current to deliver to de horn.
How can I amplify that?

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
