I have a siren that I want to hook up in the interior of the car so if the battery cable is cut  and power is lost to the main siren then this other siren will go off. It came with no instructions. I am using a crimeguard 745i4 alarm. This siren has 4 wires. Black, red, white, and blue. Red is +12V, black is - ground. The other 2 have me confused. White= + trigger, Blue= - trigger. I guess this siren is basically the same as DEI's siren w/ a backup battery. I dunno if I need to splice into the alarms sensors or what? Any help would be great.

thanx

Just hook the red to constant, black to ground, and one of the other two wires to the alarm's siren output. For example, dei alarms you would use the +trigger wire to chirp and sound the siren and cap the -trigger wire.

o.k, thank you. So my alarm has a + siren output--basically the the siren has to 2 wires, one ground and the other one that goes to the alarm. I just splice the white (+ trigger) wire of the backup alarm to the output wire of the alarm that goes to the alarms siren.? Just making sure. I've been making a lot of noise w/ the alarm install and the neighbors may be getting irritated. If I wanted to use the - trigger, would that just be like hooking it up to hood, trunk or door pin? (all -)

thank you
