I bought a Floor Mat for my Prizm, it said that I had to "hardwire" it. I'm not sure if Corollas use the same exact wires as prizms, should be close though.

I removed the panel under the steering wheel and found the Harness.

I need to know:

1 Which colors are the +12 and the negative? (i dont want the constant 12 volt)

2 Can I open the Harness to make it easyer to connect the wires?

3 Do I need to solder it?
