2004 dodge neon door locks

i just got a 2004 dodge neon sxt and i use the resistors for the door locks with the relay but i have this one problem it only works when the door is open or when the dome light is on. what do i have to do to make the door locks work when the doors are close. i use to have a dome light delay when i close the door but thats not happening. can someone plz help me out?

What wire did you hook to??

Power LockLT.GREENDRIVER KICK PANEL **
Power UnlockSINGLE WIRE SYSTEMSAME AS LOCK **
**LT GREEN Door Lock Wire Must Recieve A (-) Negative Ground Pulse Thru A 1K Ohm Resister To Lock And A (-) Negative Ground Pulse Through A 250 Ohm Resister To Unlock.

i use the light green wire with the resister but for the unlock i use a 270 ohm
