I have a Honda Accord 1996 EX and my remote start doesn't work anymore (Avital AMX 8 Q Start)

What could be the problem and how can it be resolved?

Thanks,

Ashish

I have the security system that works, I can also open the doors with the RS keys. Only thing that doesn't work is the self start.

Nothing happens when the button is pressed. No the ignition doesn't come on.

What is tach? How do I know if the alarm has a shutdown diagnostics?

I will check the hood switch grounding? Is there a specific location to look for?

Also note that my hood doesn't close properly sometimes.

Thanks for your inputs.
