I need a two way remote start alarm with a shock sensor. The best option I have found with the features I need is the Compustar 2WFM-AS. I can get it for 215 shipped. Is this a good deal? Can I hook this alarm to the DEI 530T window moduel? I was thinking aux to roll down and stage 1 output from my shock or proximity to roll up. I know I will have to diode isolate the sensors from the brain, will I have to isolate the window module also?  Does anyone know if the compustar has the input to keep the window motion from setting off the alarm? Sorry for the length. Thanks.

Also, does anyone have a link to an install book for the compustar? Thanks.

The Compustar will do everything that you want it to. Just make sure that you set the impact sensor just low enough that the windows will not ativate the full trigger. If it activates the prewarn it shouldn't matter but you can adjust that as well. Just a note about the CPU size. If the vehicle that you are installing this unit into does not have alot of room under the dash, do not get this because the CPU is HUGE. It would take a thief about 2 seconds to find this CPU and disable it.

Do you know the dimensions of the brain? Do you know any good spots on a 02 Dakota?

The dimensions are ( this is just estimating ) 6" x 4" x 1¼" and a good spot on the Dakota would be underneath the stereo or high up under the instrument cluster.
