I've connected up the wires to the indicator switch for the left and right hand indicators and still nothing.

The alarm gets its power from a red wire that i connected to an interior light for the current sense so from what i've read on here it seems the hazards aren't getting enough power to flash?

Would it be ok to stick the current sense wire on the positive battery terminal instead and have the lights flash rather than a current sense alarm?

Thanks

I'm fitting a Microscan AN211 alarm to a Peugeot 306

PARKING LIGHTS      red & green     +     at the steering column
The alarm should be powered off the ignition harness.. there is a constant 12 positive there if you have it powered off a light i won't get alot of power most alarms need a 10-15A power source.
Why oh Why didn't i take the blue pill

i just read your post again there. i can't see any reason why you would put it to the internal light for current sensing..   the alarm will be able to current sense of any 12V constant wire in the car

In that case what would be a good wire to stick it to in order to get enough power to make the hazards flash?

Cheers

Thanks, i'll try this although on the diagram on the site above it says the parking light wires are grey and pink for my model.

Here is a link to the instructions telling me to wire to the indicators and an interior light, cowboys. :)
