2002 honda cr-v remote starter

I'm attempting to install a remote starter in a 2002 crv.Have managed to locate all signals except the tach signal. The system has four hidden ignition coils and no nice blue wire leaving the distributor, as in days of yore, because there "ain't no distributor no more". I'm sure that the instrument cluster has a tach input and I suppose I could find the appropriate wire using the shop manual information. An earlier posting referred to "test plug #3", but I am unable to find any mention of it in that huge service manual.Any help would be very greatly appreciated.Hart
