I am trying to find wire diagrams for a 2001 Grand Prix, without a factory alarm system. I was wondering if the wires for a 2000 Grand Prix would be the same.

<>Second Ignition	white	+	ignition harness
<>Third Ignition	none
<>Accessory	orange	+	ignition harness
<>Second Accessory	brown	+	ignition harness
Notes: Not required for remote start.
Keysense	lt. green	-	ignition harness
<>Power Lock	lt. blue	-	driver kick panel
<>Power Unlock	white	-	driver kick panel
<>Lock Motor	gray		driver kick panel
<>Unlock Motor	tan		driver kick panel
<>Parking Lights+	brown		at switch

Notes: The tan is located in the drivers kick and catches only the drivers door. The dark/blue is located in the passenger kick panel and catches all other doors, must diode isolate these wires.

<>Trunk/Hatch Pin	RED / black	-	under rear deck
<>Hood Pin	none
<>Trunk/Hatch Release	BLACK/ white	+	at switch
Power Sliding Door
<>Factory Alarm Arm	none
<>Factory Alarm Disarm	ORANGE / black	-	driver kick panel
<>Disarm No Unlock	none	non	none
<>Tachometer	white	ac	pin 8, conn. 2 @ PCM
Notes: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is in the air cleaner assembly.
Wait to start
<>Brake Wire	white	+	stop light switch
Parking Brake
<>Horn Trigger	black	-	steering column
Memory Seat 1
Memory Seat 2
Memory Seat 3

Immobilizer By Pass : This vehicle is equipped with the pass-key III immobilizer. Use DEI part number 555U to bypass during remote start mode.
