I have a 1996 chevrolet monte carlo and I have installed a 561t R/S. I was looking at the wiring of my car and I have three ignitions and one accesory. I have wired only two ignitions and the accesory(orange acc). I believe that the one I did not wire was the one that turns on the stereo, whipers and maybe some more things, but I am not sure what else this wire powers. Is this bad? I kinda like it because I leave my stereo on and since I have a window shock sensor installed it will be trigering the alarm everytime I use the R/S. I am just afraid I am damaging my car. Any opinions or suggestions? Please.

Thank you

Yeah. Those are the wires I have hooked up. SO the brown is just for the stereo and whippers and........?  Is it still ok to just run those wires and not the brown one?

Yeah the wire that powers the radio is not necessary for remote start. I prefer not to power it as it can help prevent the wipers from trying to cycle through when they are left on and frozen to the windshield. If the car is running without me in it, I don't want the radio blasting either. I use enough extra gas remote starting all the time, I don't need the radio drawing extra power to boot.
