I installed my system about a month ago and at the time I couldnt get the ac to work with the remote start. The fan comes on but doesnt blow cold air. Does anyone know what color wire I should have tied into and with what wire from my alarm to make the ac work?

Anyway its a 95 ford f350 diesel.

Your truck should have 1 ignition wire and 3 accessory wires.

Ignition - RED / lt. green

Acc 1 - Grey / YELLOW (14 ga.)

Acc 2 - BLACK/ green (14 ga.)

Acc 3 - Grey / YELLOW (18 ga.)

You will need to add a relay to power the 3rd accessory wire.

85-neg

86-2nd acc output from alarm

87-positive

30-output to 3rd acc wire(be sure to diode isolate these wires)

Ok so the 2nd acc wire goes both to my relay and to the second acc in my ignition harness. Also the diodes should face the ignition harness, right?

Although blazeronspokes's method would technicaly work, there are better ways to do it.

The relay pack has a spot for a 4 pin harness to plug into. You probably didn't use it when you did the original install. It will have 4 skinny wires - pink, purple, orange and blue. You will use the orange wire.

Relay:

87 and 86 - fused (15 amp will be fine) constant +12v

85 - skinny orange wire

30 - 3rd acc. wire in car.
