sorry i will repost this question in a more general way:

has anyone any experience with a system similar to this (maybe other australians?):

it is basically an upgradeable immobiliser with multiple input possibilites. it has all black wiring coming out of the brain box which is apparently a legal requirement where i live. the unit is remote controlled.

anyway, i have successfully wired in most of the wires (eg to central locking, indicators, door switches etc etc) but i am a bit confused by the actual immobilisation circuits. The unit has two independent 30amp immobilisation circuits that i presume are just switches connected to relays inside the box. Only problem is there seem to be too many wires!

each circuit has 2 wires coming out of the box but these mysteriously split into two each. giving a total of 4 wires per circuit. if it was 2 wires per circuit i was going to wire one into the starter behind the ignition (key) and the other into the dizzy low tension circuit. but im confused by the four wires... why do these wires split into two? are they decoys?

any help would be gratefully received! this looks like a great online resource.

thanks!

george

I took a look at ur model on the website, and you have 2 immobilisation circuits which could be starter, and fuel pump.I dunno what ur manual says.I noticed you have 2 smaller wire bundles with female spade connectors on the end,and one big bundle.Look at your manual, and see how many wires go to each circuit that it's going to immobillize
