I recently installed a  2 way security w/ remote start system with LCD remote (Wintec model: LEA-825), on a 2002 X-Type 3.0S  Everything went ok, except for a few problems 1)the parking lit fuse kept blowing, do i need to add a resistor like on a Jaguar S-type. and 2 )the remote start feature wont work, the system goes into manual gear mode just fine (aka ready mode). Then when i try to start it, the unit gives me 4 buzzes, it doesn't start. 3) Couldn't find lock/unlock wires& trunk trigger). Checked all my connections, they seem correct.  Any Help would by appreciated.  My customer bought the system himself for me to install, thats why I'm not familair with this system, if anybody can help it woould be much appreciated. I don't like having half installed systems in my cars.

1. Use the negative wire at the switch with a relay to reverse polarity and the resistor inline of the output

2. Make sure that you programmed everything on the unit properly. If the vehicle doesn't even attept to start, it's in the programming, not the wiring. Also, you needed to bypass the Immobilizer system to start the vehicle

3. All the wires are located in the GECM , did you not find the door trigger wire & the hood wire in this location? The other's should be there as well
