i just worked on a 03' explorer with factory keyless the other day and i couldnt find the hatch/rear glass release wire. techsoft said it was at a module under the dash on the pass. side, but i didnt see any module. i called audiovox/prestige techsupport and the guy told me that he just did one and the factory keyless module is located behind the right rear plastic in the back, and you can either grab it there, or grab it in the loom running by the back hatch. can anyone confirm this, or disprove it? other than this little problem, the truck was a breeze.

thanks!

it is in the door lock module located in the last pillar on the pass side listen for the clicking of relays each time you press door locks find this and you will be abel to grab the wire off of that i belive it is negative but test use another person to help you find it buy him pressing the truck and you testing.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

mxxmikexx,

Remove the rear panel at the headliner, underneath to the left is the wiring going into the hatch. The release wire is in there, I know its a positive polarity and if I remember correctly its Or/Grn. This is a little faster.
