Can anyone help? Car is UK Chrysler Neon, am trying to bypass factory alarm and immobiliser, at customers request after he lost the keys!, Daimler Chrysler want big bucks to supply new keys, so I suggested I would try to bypass the unit(s) instead. Has now become a mission impossible, as I am never on the car for long enough to take a proper look. Any ideas guys would be well appreciated. Then I can get this car outa my shop!

I have an Irish Chrysler Neon and have investigated the possibility of having my system bypassed. I found a Car Alarm Fitting company in Dublin who say they have done it on 3 or 4 Neons. They said it was very difficult and I would have to leave my car with them for 2 or 3 days. Their charge is €300.

I notice that it has been some time since you posted tour query but if you are still intrested there is a post on www.neons.org at the moment on this subject under the heading "Mysterious button on remote control (keyless entry 1st gen)". If you got any info in the meantime will you please post it to help us all out with the problems a breakdown can cause.

When you say that he lost his keys....... do you mean that he lost all the chipped keys or just the valet & another master and he's only left with one ??
