FM-870-T, remote starter

Ive installed this alarm/remote starter and the alarm works fine. Ive been able to program the alarm and get to the different optoins. The problem is when I try to start the car with hitting the * twice the actuall remote lcd beeps 3 times and never starts the car. Anyone have any ideas on why this will not start. Please Help, Thanks

have you found the proper tach signal for your car, or have you even programmed tach yet

Acutally I did find the tach wire but it never worked properly so I just programed it to do a starter time of .8 seconds and it works now My problem was 1 wire, it was the hood pin connection...the kit had a thing that when the hood was poped it would disable the starter, I read it wrong thinking it needed to be grounded at all times. So i cut the wire at presto, it works. Thanks,
