2003 eclipse power locks

i have a 2003 eclipse where everytime i would lock my car using the power locks they would automatically unlock themselves less than a second later. after trying it a few more times i used the manual lock. after doing this both doors locked when i manually locked the doors and then unlocked again. after leaving the car i noticed there was a constant clicking under the hood. the click would get faster then slow down. the next day the clicking was gone but my battery was dead. i don't even know where to start

it does it with both the doors open and closed. the battery died in the factory remote so i just use the key now. my buddy told me it might have something to do with when i gave another friend a jump. i don't know how though

When you Start your car and ALL the doors are shut.......Does it still UNLock when you Manually lock ??MO

yes. the car still unlocks when i manually lock it with all the doors locked.

It is not unusual to Spike a unit when Jumping a dead battery...........If you have done nothing to the Factory wires ( like adding R / S, Alarm, etc. )& have tried engaging the Factory Alarm at the Door Key Switch, then Disarm it, I probably would want the dealer to scope it out.........Or at least to see if any error codes are presentMO
