I have install a DSI 7000 on a 1998 Dodge Durango the remote works the locks when armed and sisarmed as normal. But the ignition control is not working, the locks will not lock when the key is turned on, but when you turn the key off the locks try to unlock, I have discovered that if the key is left in the switch the locks will not lock, There is some kind of circut in the durango that prevents the locks from locking when the key is in the switch, does anyone know a way around this

It's possible the dodge wont let you lock the doors if the drivers door is open even if the key is in the ignition and on.  Check the door pin make sure it's working properly.  That should fix your problem.

No its not that, You can have all the doors open with the key out and the locks will lock, but the loks will not lock if the key is in the ingition, so when the key is turned on the ingition controled auto locking will not work, there is something with the Dodge Durango that will not allow the locks to lock with the key in the ingition, I need to find out how to bypass this

some alarms wont lock if one of the doors is open, try it with all the doors closed. could also be that the alarm itself needs programming?

No not thateither it does not matter, It is only when the key is in the ingition that the doors wont lock, Dodge has the locks disabled when the key is in the switch and I need to know how to disable this feature.

Where did you get your lock signal from?  Its very possible that if you used the keyless relay that it is disabled when the ignition is on.  You can always 5 wire the lock wires, it will use an extra relay, but it will work every time.
