DirectFax Document 1084

Im installing a Clifford Matrix RS3.5 into a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The system has a 2nd start/accy wire that has to be wired through the relay system depicted in the directFax document 1084. My question is that the fax doc says to attach the negative purple start and negative orange accy wire to the oposite side of a 12v constant. The directed instruction manual for the clifford says these wires are positive. Was this just a typo in the doc or instruction booklet, or should I be grounding the other side of the coil instead of tapping it into a 12v constant?

the wires they're talking about in the doc are from that 4 pin harness that plugs into the relay pack. The really small gauge ones.  As for the heavy gauge purple and orange wires just isolate them you don't need them.Cause I'm So white and nerdy...

thats interesting, i didnt think about hooking it up that way, but when i grounded the 12v side of the coil as i had it previously hooked up, everything worked. If this is going to hurt something let me know, but I would assume not.

it should be ok.  The way your were talking about doing it is just an alternative way to go about it.Cause I'm So white and nerdy...
