AstroStart 2106XR

I have a 1999 Chevy Lumina LTZ and am considering buying and installing an AstroStart 2106 XR system.  Can you provide me with the car wiring diagram and anyknowledge on product reliability, ease of installation and use.

I can only give some insight. since I have only installed one, and it wasn't even that model, but If you have never done anything like this I would give yourself awhile. It should be too bad if you have some experience though.  Plan it out ahead of time though the programing is rather confusing at first though. I have never heard of them intil I moved to North Dakota and now astrostart is the only model I hear about since this is the only brand they know.  I assume they are reliable, in fact I know you would not be dissapointed with its reliability, but they are very over priced.  Where are you getting the unit from? i know they are very difficult to find retail since they are not supposed to be sold retail.

Notes:

*1 Find ECM on passenger side under hood behind headlight and under fuse panel.   *2 Located in harness behind the carpet in the driver's kick panel. Relays in upper corner of passenger side kick panel behind glovebox.  *3 The light switch is easily accessed by pulling the gauges.
