ok i got a remote start and alarm for my 99 neon, this one to be exact, http://www.commandoalarms.com/itm10001.htm, and i was wondering, since i dont have power door locks or power trunk release, do i need to connect those? and if anyone else who has hooked this up in a neon, where did they place the junction box and mount the stuff? and if anyone could hook me up w/ some pics that would be sweet too... well, thanks in advance.

if you are asking these types of questions I would suggest saving yourself the headache and the possibility of damaging something, take it to a shop to get done

if your car doesn't have power locks or trunk release you do not need to use those wires

You don't need to hook up doorlocks or trunk release.Mount the unit anywhere that's out of the way of moving parts(steering column).Take your time and go step by step, test your wires with a meter!
