Hello,

I bought my wife a newer car, a 99 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I want to add a remote starter (Omega RS-4LX) but use the factory keyless entry and remote. I need to know exactly the best way to use the unlock button, (Double Pulse) to activiate starter. Where do I run off the (-) activation wire from the remote starter to on the car? Do I hook up off the factory relays? I was thinking of hooking it up to the unlock wire from the actuator? Any help apprecated, I would prefer not insall an aftermarket keyless entry or alarm.

Just so you know that whatever your range is now on the OEM keyless entry, that will be your range for the remote starter as well. I'm not familiar with the Omega brand but I would use the lock wire to engage the starter because you don't want to unlock the doors while remote starting the vehicle and leave it unattended while unlocked. Use the (-) pulse from the lock wire ( RED / BLACK ) which is found in the BCM left of the steering column under the dash.
