I have an alarm that goes off around thirty minutes after it is armed and it only goes off once. After the initial alarm everything is ok. What is the problem with the alarm?

The vehicle is a 2000 ford f150 and I have noticed that the door trigger is unplugged and that it alarms exacltly thirty minutes which means that the battery saver is somehow affecting the alarm, I don't think that the door trigger was hooked up to the door though. Maybe I could plug it into a consent supply of power to trick it, what do you think?

beep.... wrong answer.. the GEM module "polls" the circuits in the vehicle on a timed basis to make sure all is well... when it polls the doorpins to see if a door was left ajar it is tripping the alarm... ( since the alarm sees this as the door being opened) you have to isolate the door pin circuit in the vehicle... if you do a search for Gem module or Fords you should find the info sheet you need....
