working on a 2001 taurus trying to locate the 26 pin conn. to the gem module does anybody know whitch plug it is theres like 6 big plug in to the left of the steerihg colum

What are you looking for, doorlocks probably?
It's basically the fusebox...... if you were to imagine someone seated in the driver's seat, it would be a little bit above and ahead of his toes.
If you operate the locks while holding a tool (like a screwdriver) against the box, you will feel the relays inside clicking.
The lock wires are in one of the plugs that are coming out the bottom of that box, going DOWN toward the carpet.

I find it easier to get them in the kickpanel. They are coming from the door harness and loop down a bit so they are reachable. Practically every wire needed is in that same harness, never had a need to go to the GEM....

it was the white plug at the bottom of the fuse panel thanks for the help
