is there any way possible to hook up a 2 way remote to an existing alarm? i have an Avistart 4300. i know the upgraded version of mine can come with a 2way so i was just wondering. Thanks

Yeah just need a new antenna, the antenna wire, and of course the new remote too.

really, i didnt think it would be that easy, i actually already have the antenna and wire, so i just need a remote now? anywhere to get them cheap? im guessing ebay? do i have to get an avital one or can it be any directed electronics brand?

it is that simple.   You can look at ebay for the remote and antenna. It can be any remote, viper, python, clifford etc.
