I have an astrostart 4204u and when I try to start the car the horn honks and nothing happens.  It worked fine untill I tried to add another remot and I think that I did somthing wrong in the sequence.  All of the other features work such as door lock and unlock.  I must have activated some sort of security feature.  Now I don't know how to fix the problem.

How did you attempt to program the new remote? Does the old remote still work.

Flip up dip switch # 8 and hit the brake, hiot lock or unlock on BOTH transmitters.......flip down dip #8 hit the brake , your done! K

You need to have ALL OF THE transmitters when you program a new one.

I did it with the key.  turn it off/on 3 times along with a few other motions like the owners manual tells you to.
