is there a web site or sumwhere i can check to see if the vehicle i am insalling on has a transponder (whether it be pats vats, etc.) i don't want to bother everyone with a post everytime i need sum info. for now i need to know which of these vehicles have it or not?

00 cavilier

99 malibu

97 venture

01 montana ( passkey III ) i think

Jeff at velocitymotorsport.com has a good list of vehicles with factory anti-theft systems. Try that and see if thats what you are looking for. Brian

00 cavalier = passlock 2

99 malibu = passlock 2

97 venture = says no but it may have passlock 3 which is a transponder in the key

01 montana = passlock 3 transponder
