Aprreciate anyone can help me to get the answers for these.
I'll be installing 791xv to my wife's 03 Lexus ES300 next week and want to do windows & sunroof closing and opening. The car itself has keyless entry with remote opening windows( and sunroof ) by holding the UNLOCK button on the remote OR holding keylock position in the key cyclinder. But it DOES NOT do the closing by remote or key. And base on my research, LEXUS does not make this as a manufacture feature for safety (stupid) reasons. And I want to have the options to roll up the windows and closing the the sunroof with the 791xv remote. So the questions are:
- Does Lexus keyless entry module has built-in relay for closing but got dissabled or disconnected. Can I enable (or connect these) for closing? Anyone familiar with the Lexus ES300?
- If it's not possible to do the above, I'll get the smartwindow modules (or the 529T or 530T) to do the windows and sunroof closing. This is not hard to do but it brings up another question. The car has the ONE-TOUCH up and down in all windows and I want to maintain this feature with the smartwindows module and I am not sure how to connect them to have maintain the One-touch feature. Any expert out there that can help me on this. My guess is I need to connect smartwindows between the switches and the motors.
Again, thanks in advance for any input.

the windows will have one touch up and down with the 530T. It will in fact provide this feature on vehicles that don't have it already. However since your car is already equipped with this feature, it does complicate the install. You'll most likely have to bypass the factory window control and go directly to the motor in each door. The 530T needs to see a true reading from the motor, which it cannot do if the factory control is between the motor and the 530T.
Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.

Thanks for your reply. I'll make sure to connect the wires directly to the motors
