chdl7-pk2?

Is anyone familiar with the operation of the CHDL7-PK2 module from bypasskit.com (Omega)? It can be found here and if you check the installation manual it shows a second starter wire connection. This would be used in the '06 300C, Charger, Ram, etc. Does this eliminate the need for the 2 relay, difference in resistance method DEI states to use? I have done the 2 relay setup without difficulty but just noticed this bypass doing a websearch, and a single box that does doorlocks, second starter/accessory, arm, disarm and includes a sentry bypass is really appealing to me, if it indeed does the second starter/accessory wire too. Any opinions or input would be greatly appreciated!

We used a few of these and yes the module eliminates the need for a ground resistance to the 2nd starter wire, but you still need a relay for the ACC wire to ground on certain models.Jeff

Thank you for the response. This raises another question for me then. When you do a 06 Charger/300C/Ram/others you still have to seperate the second acc/starter wire during the start sequence? The manual for this piece does not explain in any detail what the wire does except that it is the second starter wire. If you look at the bypasskit website it states that this piece eliminates the need for resistors and relays, but if it only serves as the second starter output, not the accesory output you still have the need for 2 relays and one resistor value. Understanding that it still does doorlocks/arm/disarm etc via data.

Don't use that bypass, use a PKUCH2X it does both starter and ign and bypass, you'll have to run your own locks wires however.Shaughn Murley

Extreme, I am not really familiar with these modules. Why do you recommend not using this bypass? This unit claims to be able to arm and disarm the factory alarm which on some of the chryslers is not achievable using - or + triggers. The ability to arm and disarm the factory alarm on vehicles that DEI lists (05 Durango) as "factory transmitter only" is very appealing to me.
