I installed a remote start on 2004 buick rendevous. Works great but when remote started security light illuminates. I have powered both ignitions and accessories the only thing I missed intially was to switch the jumper from 2 nd ignition to 2nd accesory. I switched the  jumper and light is still on. Any ideas. I used a 555g to bypass passkey III.

2003 Grand Prix gave me a similar problem, just disconnecting the battery for 10 mins fixed it for me.

Make sure that the brown wire in the ignition harness is powered as an accessory. You must also use the light blue wire in the light blue plug of the BCM for parking lights otherwise you will set the check engine light on.

I ended up disconnecting the battery for 20 min or so after moving jumper. security light came back on. I was thinking bypass problem? I don't stock 555g so I switched it out for 457g, lost a little but security light didn't come on. Its odd because I've used many 555g on buicks and aztecs?? Light is out customer is happy I guess.
