galaxy 2 way remote

Hi I have had my alarm a few weeks now, and i had some questions on it, but now its working great thanks to you all out there. I have one more question about the lcd remote. I talked to the installer about  the fact that it wont show armed when it passive arms, he said that it goes to sleep a few seconds after you push a button, and that i have to push button 5 for confirmation to show that it is armed. what i dont understand is that all other functions work with out having to push button 5. my question is is there a way to program the remote to do this by it self, or thats the way it is made. Thanks

they are pretty costly to get scytek sells the alarm with pagers cheap enough but its about60-70 for pager aloneWhy oh Why didn't i take the blue pill

Therse nothing you can do to fix this. The remote does go to sleep. It only recieves signals from the car for about 5 seconds after you hit a button, unless the alarm is triggered.Northstart.....or start it your damn self.
