First, what make/model is the system you are trying to install?
If you take a look at this page it will give you the wiring information for your vehicle. It shows that to activate your power door locks you need to provide a negative trigger to the vehicle's BLACK/ white to lock the vehicle and a negative trigger to the vehicle's BLACK/ red to unlock the vehicle. Depending on the make/model of your system you should not need extra relays to lock and unlock via the new system.
Your car uses negative door triggers, so you would not need to use the wire listed for positive door trigger input.
Hope this helps.
