I have been using widows for years now and never had any problems. All winter long the remote start worked perfect. the electic climate control turns on and blows heat. the problem is it will turn on the climate control but blows hot with a/c on. won't get cold until I turn on the key. Did I possible tag the wrong acc wire?

Notes:
*1 Both wires must be powered for remote start. *2 Use ORANGE / purple for lock and pink/black for unlock at the drivers door switch to operate the drivers door lock.   Use BLACK/ white for lock and pink/black for unlock at the passenger front door switch to unlock all passenger doors. It is required to interface in each door even if the vehicle is equiped with keyless entry. *3 To avoid dome light delay there are 5 separate trigger wires in a 14 pin black plug at the BCM located between the steering column and the drivers kick panel. The plug is located in the drivers side front corner of BCM just behind the knee bolster. All wires in the plug exit straight down. The door trigger colors are tan, tan/red, tan/orange, and tan / YELLOW. The trunk trigger color is tan/black. All of them are negative trigger. Grab each wire and diode isolate. See directfax document #1076 for wiring information. WHEN USING A 455T INTERFACE MODULE, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO USE THE SEPARATE TRIGGER WIRES. *4 Also located in the same 14 pin black connector as the separate door trigger wires. See above notes for exact location.     *5 The PCM is located high on the passenger side firewall.   *6 When using a 530T it is required to go into each rear door and use brown for up and purple for down. *7 Can also use DEI part number 455t door lock interface control module. This will control door lock, unlock, arm, disarm, dome light supervision and more.

This is a known issue; my co-workers have seen it on other Grand Cherokees.
The RED / black second-accessory wire appears to just power up the radio and windshield wipers.......but it is also needed to activate the A/C compressor, and heated seats.
So, power up the RED / black as an accessory (or ignition if you must), and it'll be fixed.
