How do u install a valet remote start model 551T on a 98 Honda accord with a keyless entry?  Is it possible? I mean where do u connect the wire in order to activate the remote start on the factory remote ? How does it work/ I mean does the car starts everytime u push the unlock button or  something similar ?Where is the keyless entry module located in the car? Sorry , so much questions. I'm new at this industry. Thanks

you can tie into the lock motor on the accord... you will have to use a relay..

86-lock motor wire--------WHITE/ red

85 and 87 to ground

30- remote start activation wire( WHITE/ blue)..

then after everything is done youll have to program it, whether you want it to start on two pulses or three.......also just to make sure put the key in the ignition and start the car, you should be able to control the lockson the remote with the car started if you cant unlock while the car is on youll have to use your key to open the door, or change the activation wire to unlock motor

also set the 551t to three pulses after you set up and install the remote start  go to programming number 9 and set it to the three led flshing setting so when you press the lock on remote three times it will start the car.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

also this car has an immobilizer use part 555u or 555h, 555U will require a key, the valet key will work (grey key) if car is an EX model you will have to go inside the door to disarm factory alarm(BLUE wire at window switch) connect it to the light green\black of the remote start. Good luck!

When u say disarm the factory alarm, do u mean to cut the blue wire completely off the harness or just tap the light GREEN/ black of the remote start wire to the blue wire? Do I need a relay to do this?

Thanks again fellows really appreciated

this is only if you have a factory alarm, if you dont know the best thing to do is roll down the window lock the doorswith the remote  wait like 2mins(arming delays remote start on keyless entry -- posted image.) reach in the car unlock the lock and open the door.....if you do have one then you just splice the GREEN/ black from the rs to the blue in the door...

only if you have a factory alarm. Most EX's model have one. You will see a blinking light by the door  nent to the lock. and you only need to tap to that wire if car is an LX more likely is just a keyless entry.

Why not just do it with a long-range remote the first time?  Besides, once the motor is running, the Honda keyless doesn't work---you're going to have to use the key to get into the car.
