I recently installed a new batery on my Neon but now alarm is not working.

Need I change the alarm? or I need to re-program?

Thanks in advance

Is the alarm a factory piece or is it a dealer installed option?

is it one of those "factory" units that you need to hit the defrost button before starter the vehicle?

just wondering cause i have a 96 Neon are those units are pretty common in them from what i have noticedd

The alarm is factory instaled,  and I don't need to hit the defrost button before start the vehicle.

I found the solution in the web today, the only thing that I need is to pres both buttons (lock and unlock) at the same time.....too easy.

Thanks for your attention.
