Yukon remote start problem

I just dropped my truck (2002 Yukon) off at the installer to install an Autopage RS-750LCD and they told me that they would not install the remote start feature because of incompatibilities with the ignition wiring. They say the Yukon has a three wire ignition and the Autopage comes with a two wire and will burn out the ignition, starter or something. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Are there any known problems with remote start in 2002 GMC Yukons? Can someone explain to me what they are talking about because I got hot when they told me that and I need a little understanding. First of all, You can hook up as many Ignition wires as you want with any remote starter.  You only need one ignition output to do so, most units come with 2 because more vehicles use 2 these days. All you need to do is use a relay for the other ignition or accessory wires that any vehicle has.   I would take their comments as a sign of their Ignorance or just stupidity and never go back to them.  Go somewhere else because even if you convince them it is possible, Who knows what they will do to your car after saying that.  You could even do the install yourself. 

I have a 97 yukon, and just as posted from above, all that was needed was to relay to the multiple ign wires.
