hi, i just bought Crime Guard 745i2 alarm for my civic EX 94 - 4 doors.

the has two wires for door trigger: Green - negative door trigger; violet - positive door trigger. should i connect this two wires or i just need one? if only one, which one should i choose?

For the trunk pin wire, i could not find GREEN/ black wire at blue connector above fuse box, but i found the green with silver dot on the wire, is that the right wire?

The alarm has two kinds of dome light supervision, negative dome light and positive dome light, which one should i choose?

For the doorlock system, does civic 94 use 3 wire negative pulse system? or 3 wire positive pulse system. does my car has doorlock relay control unit and door actuator? the alarm package came with a doorlock relay module. should i install this module? in the crime guard manual, the lock and unlock wires from alarm brain connect between doorlock switch and doorlock relay control unit, and after the relay there is an actuator. this doorlock part make confuse me, i don't know whether my car has an actuator or not or has a doorlock relay or not. i can only find the power lock and unlock wire behind fuse box. can i connect that wire to the alarm brain using relay? or i must access the cable from the door panel? please anyone help me for this part.

thanks alot

thanks for the wiring diagram, but i still have probelm with diodes. In the alarm manual, it requires to use diode IN4002 for trunk release. But i couldn't find it in local Radio Shack store. Can I use another one like IN4003? and what is starter interrupt operates in valet mode mean? actually i don't know what valet mode means.

thanks for helping

Why do you need diodes for a trunk release for ?? You will need a trunk release solenoid for this car and hook it up to a (-) trigger and wire up a relay to convert the signal to a (+) pulse. The starter interrupt is the relay that cuts the current that goes to your starter wire so that someone can't hot wire the car if the alarm has gone off or if it's armed. Valet mode is a state of the alarm that monitors the hood & trunk triggers but allows for the doors to open and close without setting the alarm off for those people who get their vehicles valet parked.

i'm sorry it's not trunk release but trunk pin, so the diodes is for trunk pin.

and thanks for the valet mode information.

the picture diagram in the manual have two diodes, one for trunk pin and one for hood pin. or can i just connect the wire from brain directly to trunk pin and hood pin?

If you need to isolate the two trigger points from each other, then have one of the diodes with the band facing the trunk trigger and then have another diode on the hood pin wire with the band facing the hood pin switch.
