I have installed a Prostart CT3160M Remote Starter in a 1993 Ford Escort 1.9L and cannot figure out how-to override the clutch switch using the remote starter. Currently, I have a tie-rap on the clutch switch and the remote start works just fine, but I would like to wire this remaining piece in correctly.

Here is the installer manual for this device.

Can anyone help me identify where to attach the pin#10 "ground-out" on the remote starter should be connected.

Going to the clutch switch is a blk/blu and blk/red wires. I think these are the same wires that come from the Starter  Out and Ignition Out wires that come from the Ignition Switch.

It has a type 1 clutch switch, so all you have to do is, try cranking the starter while the clutch is out, one side will be hot and the other cold, go to the cold side of the clutch switch with the starter wire from the remote start...hope this helps...chris

Don't share too many install secrets with your customers, pretty soon they won't need you!!!!!
