1999 subaru outback remote start

I installed a bulldog remote starter in my 1999 Subaru Outback wagon. I tested starting with the remote with no issues. I put the lower dashboard cover back on and now I dont have any headlights or parking lights. Since I used a T harness I easily removed the remote starter to trouble shoot. Problem: no dashboard lights, headlights or parking lights. I checked all wire harness connections but they all seemed fine. I checked all fuses. I can turn on the high beams if I hold the lever towards me. The turn signals do work. Any ideas?

Yes I checked all fuses. Is it possible that the headlight/parking switch could have been fried?

Its possible, but it should of blown a fuse first. Check the polarity of the park light wire on the remotestart. And check the polarity of the parklight wire on the car. I think the park light wire on the subys are pos. If thats correct, then i would start looking at the switch. When you turn the light switch on and off, do you get any kind of relay click under the dash?

I would also think a fuse should have blown but all fuses are OK. Why I dont think it is a fuse because the bulldog remote start does operate the parking lights. The low beam and high beam and gauge cluster lights do not function when using the left stick. The turn signals still work. Also the pull high beam flash does work. Any ideas? I really think its the left stick switch that got shorted, but I dont see how.

Do you think the switch got fried? I dont see how this could have happened. As the above poster stated the parking lights are a BLACK/ green wire. I used the wire on the other side of this harness (for my parking lights). I believe it was a white wire. DO you think this caused the short? BTW I have completely removed the remote car starter.
