Was cleaning up the other day and found a "little black box".  I think Iknow what it is, but need you experts out there to verify.  Only sticker on it says AU-REC.  I believe its a channel expander.  It has a 5 wire harness (red, blk, blu, grn, vio).  Also a  1-10 on-off type siwtches, a dial for duration. and a little pull out pin thingy (like the ones found on some RS for 2nd IGN/ACC/STR).  Can someone tell me what this is and what usefull features i can use it for. I know i need an output from an alarm. but how does it know what channel is being activated.  can it be set for pulse/constant/lacthing/timed)  Thks in advance for any info.
