My used van (1992 Ford Aerostar) has a viper 551 system installed.  Went to move it up under cover, while doing a stereo install and found antenna wire just hanging and the plug in the system.  Is it worth while soldering the connector back on or just replacing the antenna totally? How can I find out what other options are installed on the viper 551?

thanks for any info

i would just replace the antenna... they aren't that expensive... make sure to stick with the right one... if the plug is green you need the green antenna, if the plug is white you need the white one... i cant remember the exact part #'s but you know what i mean.....
