i'm new to this a forum so first of all i like to say hi to to all.. : )

i have a few problems configuring my gsm alarm and i think i stuffed it up somewhere along the way. its a TOPTEN GSM alarm V2 and my car is a Celica 96. I installed it everything went fine except:

1. that i cant remotely alarm it or disarm it at a distance further than 1-2m, but when its already triggered i can shut it off from far.

2. the voltage output to the indicator lights works fine i tested it but when connected to the car and triggered, the light flashed for about 3 seconds and dies off...

3. the person who i bought this GSM from forgot his password to the system menu, when ever i called the alarm its asks me for the access password. If anyone knows how to reset the system that would be great.

(on the manual it says to pull out the gsm connector once u hear the first ring tone, i assumed that the GSM connector is the sim card but that didnt work)

thanks in advance..

i installed a gsm alarm TopTen V2  to a celica 96 but when ever it's trigerred  the lights (fom the signal indicators) flashes for only a few second then died out...happened everytime.

what have i done wrong?

I connected the output signal to the indicator wires of the celica which are GREEN/ YELLOW and green under the steering columm.

do i need an extra transformer ,since it needs to power 3 lights on each side...

thanks in advance
