2007 corolla s, alarm/remote start

I have a bunch of questions about a alarm/auto start in a 07 Corola S. I did mutiple searches and didnt turn up quite the answers I needed.

1. Where can I find the door trigger wire, (book says red wire pin 10 fuse block) I looked for a while and couldnt figure out which harness it was. Anybody have a pic? Or a easier place to get this.Sombody said drivers A pillar RED / yellow. Is this correct? Can I hook up dome supervision to it? Anything near the kick panel?

2. Tach wire. I have it hooked up to the black wire on the last ecu plug, dont even know how to determine if it was pin 5 or not. Metered it (fluke) and I got a cel (evap control). Dont think that was the right wire. Did they change it to a new location (ala XRS? or whatever that model is)? Sombody said go to the top of the insturment cluster or the coil (which i dont want to do). I dont even know where to start looking. The last thing that I found is that you can get it off the obdII connector, is this true?

3. Green unlock or blue/white unlock. The car has factory  keyless (which im obviously removing). I had it hooked up to green. Will this continue to work or will I have problems in the future? Some people seem to like the bl/wh better.....

4. Hooked up the parking lights to the GREEN / WHITE on the colum, right rear the stalk. Negative trip. Is this ok?

5. Bonus question. The car has really crappy FM recption, replaced the head unit and it too has bad recption. Was going to bring it to dealer but he will blame the aftermarket head unit. Has anybody had similar experience with these cars? Im thinking cruched/damaged wire somwhere. How is it routed or should I just drop a new line and get a different antena?

Easiest spot to get door trigger is low in the drivers kickpanel, RED / yellow. You can also get it on the top of the fuse box or the A pillar.

Personally i go to a coil for tach. The closest coil on the drivers side, white wire.

Use the blue/white.  It will require 2 pulses to unlock all doors.

Lights are fine.

I have noticed that on Corollas. I do a dealer that's out in the sticks and everytime i get a Corolla i can't get the radio station i listen to but can on other Toyotas.

Im not removing the factory keyless. Im just going to use the remotes that came with the aps 997.

I usually treat alarms as a consumable item. I havent found a place where I could get a new harness to re install the alarm in a new car. At least not where it would be cheaper to get a new harness than to buy a new alarm.

When I install alarms I remove all the wires from the harness that im not using. Makes for a cleaner install.

I dont do to many alarms. If I do 3 a year that is a lot. Only for family and close friends.
