avital phoenix 2, 69 mustang

I have a 69 Mustang and the battery has been draining to below one volt in an average of 4 days.  I have an Avital Phoenix 2 alarm system and feel the alarm system might be my problem.  Is there a simple way I can disconnect the Avital system for troubleshooting purposes and still run the car? I do have the wiring installation manual and user manual.  The 5 volt fuse is not popping, so I have to locate my draining problem.  The system is basic with just the doors, hood and ignition wired in.   It has a starter disable relay,  motion sensor and valet switch wired in.  The interior and tailights are wired in to work.   If I removed the fuse from the main unit and pulled the relay from the starter disable relay socket, then jumper the 2 yellow wires at the connector would I be ok? 

just remove power from your main power line into the avital and the system is off 100%. no need to pull out the starter kill relay and run a jumper cable. just leave it there. the relay only works when it has been armed. what u should do is disarm ur system then remote the fuse. if u cant start ur car then yes remove the relay, and jump it.
