hey, does any1 have the TX and RX wires on the 98 honda accord? im not sure why but my neighbours accord i did will start fine with the key, but NEVER remote starts. The bypass confirms its programmed, having tripple checked my connections @ bypass and soldered them to my TX/RX. I just want to confirm i have the right wires. Also any1 kno why during remote start, the KEY symbol in the dash flashes, yet the bypass module Honda Sl3 fortin, is ON (led ON-active) and programmed? thanks

i have here is a wiring diagram and it lists

Transponder Ring Wire

Ignition - Yellow/Black

Data - Red pin # 2
Syncro - Blue pin # 3

still doesnt work....

Try getting your ignition source and power from ignition harness and reground the black wire to the kick panel.

I don't know specifically about the fortin module, but an some Hondas I have done with the iDatalink modules the security light wire also gets opened during remote start.
Think. It's not illegal yet.
