worktruck 05 nissan frontier remotestart

I use a company truck that I am not allowed to cut any wires because I am not the owner and not allowed to start cutting up the trucks wires..... I am  interested in installing a remote start now that the cold is here. It has a factory alarm that came with truck when new and wondered if a harness exists that I can quickly install a remote start and then remove when I no longer use that truck. I am willing to tap into 1 or 2 wires but am looking for a quick and inexpensive way to get what I want. If it were my truck I would use a professional MECP installer, I on the other hand will not be able to recover the expense of the starter or the cost of an installer and am hoping for a positive response. I live near Danbury CT and work in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I hope that someone here can give me answers to my questions as well as possiblly reccomend an inexpensive remote start with a range of 800-1000 ft. I see so many different types and have no fricking idea one from another.Safety Steve

Hey, I was just in Danbury a few weeks ago. I don't know of any kind of harness like that that exists for your truck. You might want to consider using T-taps to make your connections. Regardless, it would make it very easy to remove the system when it's time to turn your truck in, there will be almost-unnoticable marks on the factory wires, and you can easily tape them up. That truck has an anti-theft transponder chip in the key. Do you have access to a spare key, or just one? If you have only one key, you'll need something like the XK07 from www.bypasskits.com to deal with the transponder system.
