I dont know if this has ever crossed anyones mind about this particular subject, so I will ask.
QUESTION: Why do people insist upon using more than one screen name in a open forum(s), such as this one?
Does it not dawmn on anyone that alot of the one time sign ups with (1) replies, which have the correct answer to a persons Q.
Reads and sounds like many of the people I have observed on here?
LMAO . . .Why do people use multiple names? -- posted image.
Just in the last 3 weeks alone, I have been able to tell who the people are, simply by how they phrase and write their replies to others. LOL
Does it not make more sense to simply reply in kind using your first screen name, rather then pretending to be someone new?
Just thought that was odd to see in this forum, as I have seen it alot in others. But that is to be expected in forums which are enrolled with children.

I will admit I'm not sure exactly what you mean by your post? I've read it a few times now and I can't figure out what you are seeing people doing. Just replying to posts with a secondary name instead of their normal handle? Or maybe instead of being a jerk to somebody with their "known" name they create a second name to flame somebody with? Not sure why anyone would use 2 different screen names on the same forum unless they are hiding from someone. This forum as far as I know doesn't list the online users anyway so don't see any point of trying to hide. Haven't really picked up on anything like you have though I just read and if I see something I can help with, I reply..You could always ask them or maybe create a second name, then ask them Why do people use multiple names? -- posted image.

Yes, it is regarding people using a secondary name to answer another members question.
It doesn't bother me so much, as it makes me wonder why. As you stated already, if you see something you can help on, you do.
As I believe many of the members on this forum do as well, with great pride and sincerity.
It just really makes me shake my head seeing it in a adult forum, where childish antics should not be.
Just my thoughts on that.

well one of the forum rules is:

Each forum member may have only one account.

so you could pm the admin I assume and he could check the ip address..

You can check the member's IP address as well to see if they are from the same computer or not.

I haven't noticed anyone doing this recently, but now I'm curious to know who you believe is doing this, Teken?  Jeff, only moderators can check the member's IP address.

Well, I am not here to rat out any people... It was simply a question I wanted to pose to the members of this fine board.
In my opinion, the only thing that really matters I suppose is that the information given, to anyone is accurate and is not flawed, so as it may cause injury or damage to another.
As they say: If it is to be... It is up to me !
