i just got a set of reverse luminescent gauge faces for my 99 accord and a friend told me that they can't be wired the same as my OEM gauges or i'll fry them when i arm/disarm my alarm.  can anyone help me out on this?  what else can i wire them to so they don't flash with my alarm, or do i need a relay to bypass this?

What you need to do is wire the positive trigger(probably red) to the parking lights and just ground the ground wire(probably black).  These should come from a control box and the gauges will plug into a harness.  As far as them blowing up flashing with your alarm, I have them and they flash with my alarm and nothing has happened to them and I have had mine for over two years.
